VEGOTEX is a global family-owned company renowned for its contemporary designs and manufacturing of clothing for women, men, and children, both under its own brand and private labels. We are presently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic sales representative to join our team and contribute to our growth.
Job description
- You are responsible for building and managing a mainly export oriented private label customer base
- You analyse the market and actively look for new opportunities.
- You take care of the offers you present, conduct negotiations and act proactively.
- You build up a customer portfolio by prospecting and presenting our collection and production possibilities to possible clients in a professional way.
- You translate your market knowledge and analyse the needs of potential customers in your assigned export markets. You will work together with our sales force, styling, various departments and report directly to the General Manager.
Profile
Can you tick off the following points?
- You have a great commercial drive, prospecting and client hunting do not deter you.
- You can reply on a network in the wholesale and private label segment and have experience in negotiating with international key accounts.
- You have knowledge of the commercial middle segment (women, men, children).
- You can work independently, are stress resistant and not afraid of a challenge.
- You are communicative, persuasive and have excellent negotiation skills.
- You are fluent in Dutch, French and English. Knowledge of German is definitely a plus.
- You work in a structured manner and continuously look for opportunities to expand the customer base.
- You are a positive and flexible person with a hands-on mentality. Travelling for work does not put you off.
- You can look back on a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an export and production-oriented sales role.
- Textile knowledge is a must.
